Internationally renowned artist Susan Pepler’s large canvases buzz with vitality. Her subjects, carefully selected for their beauty and painterly appeal, include the remarkably preserved antique cars of Havana, as well as exciting collections, uniquely arranged flowers.
Her subjects are vividly brought to life with bold brushstrokes and a joyful colour palette.
Susan left the world of advertising in 2000 to pursue a full time career as a Fine Arts painter. Three years later she was the First Place winner of AJAC’s Juried Art Competition and went on to judge the same competitions in subsequent years. She’s contributed to over 25 group exhibitions and presented more than 24 solo exhibitions in Canada and the US, with buyers spread across the globe.
No stranger to the townships, Miss Pepler grew up visiting her family’s country home in Mansonville. She’s been exhibiting in Knowlton since 2006 and recently left Montreal to become a full time resident of Knowlton.
Susan has a degree Fine Arts from Concordia University and a diploma in Illustration & Design from Dawson College.
