For the first time on our stage, we are thrilled to present Kathia Rock in a moving journey as she illuminates her culture through music, storytelling and theatre. Her musical universe is inspired as much by her urban environment as by her Innu community of Uashat-Mak-Maliotenam, on the North Shore. She composes and interprets melodies that draw their sources from the ancestral repertoire of her people as well as from traditional "contemporary folk-rock fusion music."
