Singer-songwriter Danny Rood has been performing in Quebec for many years, notably at the Tremblant International Blues Festival and the Festival international de jazz de Montréal, as well as in France and the United States. With his warm, mellifluous voice, he offers a brand-new and exciting approach to the blues in this original show. Inspired by his many stays in Nashville as well as by his personal background, the music of “Sunny Blues” is sunlit, vibrant and soulful—touching people with words of hope, happiness and a positive approach to life. Four musicians and backup singers accompany Danny, each with impressive musical backgrounds of their own.
