ALEXANDRE BELLIARD

Interactive lecture/show on writing

September 30 at 1 p.m. – FREE

A one-hour exchange in song with Alexandre Belliard. In the form of an interactive lecture, the artist, who has more than 100 songs to his credit, will offer the audience his compositions and evoke his career path, before sharing the writing games that have enabled him to go beyond the blank page.

Since 2012, Alexandre Belliard has been helping us discover the history of the French-speaking Americas through his art. Each of his shows tells the story of our past and present through characters, each more colorful and engaging than the last.

Recipient of the Prix Sylvain-Lelièvre 2022 for lifetime achievement and dedication to the preservation of the French-speaking world of the Americas with his project Légendes d’un peuple. Alexandre Belliard is the youngest artist to receive this prestigious award, following in the footsteps of legendary songwriters such as Claude Léveillée, Richard Séguin, Gilles Vigneault, Yvon Deschamps, Plume Latraverse, Jean Lapointe and Claude Gauthier, to name but a few.
