Vicki Tansey

Traces

Improvisational dancer, painter, teacher and mentor, Vicki Tansey has been an active and well-known figure in the Eastern Townships creative community for over forty years. In November, she will turn seventy-nine and, as she puts it, “enter her eightieth year”.

To celebrate this milestone, Tansey and four talented musicians will present Syncopation, a unique evening of improvised music and movement at the Théâtre de Lac-Brome. Syncopation will be one of the highlights of Traces, a month-long exhibition of her more recent work, also presented at the theater. As always with this artist, whether on stage or in a gallery, expect to be seduced, surprised and entertained. Two great opportunities to discover this exceptional multidisciplinary artist!

The Traces vernissage will take place on Sunday, November 5 from 2pm to 5pm.

The exhibition runs from November 4 to 30 – opening hours are Tuesday to Friday, 1 pm to 5 pm and 1 hour before each show.

The Syncopation dance improvisation show will take place on Saturday, November 10 at 8 p.m.
