Odile Cloutier Exhibit

Le jardin d’été

With a degree in art history from the Université de Montréal, Odile Cloutier continued her studies in interior design at Ryerson University in Toronto. Between creating decors and designs for her clients, the painter has developed her own artistic style, drawing inspiration from various art-historical currents. She has been exhibiting her work in several galleries for the past 15 years. Her work can be found in private residences in Montreal, Trois-Rivières, Quebec City, Toronto, San Diego, Paris and London.

Odile Cloutier presents her latest collection of paintings entitled Le jardin d’été, in which she introduces us to contemplative, sometimes mysterious landscapes in bewitching colors. This collection of portraits and landscapes – some of which are painted on circular wooden panels where the viewer has the impression of gazing through a porthole – leads us to glimpse a reality that is often distorted and exaggerated, translating into heightened and fanciful sensations. The work as a whole stands out for its marriage of colors, superimposed textures and crystals. The artist invites the viewer to enter her imaginary, fantasy-filled world.

The vernissage will take place on Sunday, July 16, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The exhibition runs from July 1st -31, 2023 – hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 1 hour before each show.
